24" Pecos Discada - Huge New Size

Company had this at my door step in less than 24 hours (which is amazing in the day and age). I is beautiful, quality, and honestly worth much more than they charge!

After owning a Rio Grande 24” for a year, (which is also a fantastic disk/wok) I wanted another, somewhat flatter, disk. The Pecos 24” is a perfect for when I want more of a flat grill instead of a wok.

I spend a lot of time reviewing different plow disks cookers and decided to buy this one for multiple reason. 1. The shallow angle of the bowl- Many of the discs have steeper sides and the food slides back into the center of the disc. After cooking the food almost all the way through, moving it to the side to keep warm is important so I can keep cooking other foods. 2- This particular company sends your disc with its first seasoning done. I could have started cooking immediately, where many other discs come with a dried on coating of vegetable oil that many reviews claim it is nearly impossible to remove. I did spend a good hour or two season the entire disc, but COULD have begun cooking immediately. 3- The price- this price point was awesome and shipping was much less than a few others I priced out. 4- Durability- I really see this thing lasting forEVER. I 5 boys, and cooking outside is one of our favorite ways to make meals. We have used it twice, and I can’t see how it would last the rest of my life if treated properly. I cook often and it was very easy to figure out heat control the first use. The scrambled eggs came out fluffy and amazing. One key this this is low heat cooking. 5- Correct Advertising- it is as awesome as they say. The food slides around so easily. I didn’t even have to use water to clean it out. I added a little oil after we finished cooking and wiped with paper towel while it was still super warm. Cleaned up beautifully. In love with this. I could seriously sell this thing for the company!

I love everything about this disk! The quality is phenomenal. I got the 24". Paella was a big hit for a large get together - the disk was full nearly edge to edge & it was nearly licked clean. Sadly, no left overs! Get the lid & trivet right away too! Fast shipping and good communication round out this great company.

Much anticipated arrival. Appeared to be well seasoned. First use was 1lb thin sliced bacon, cut peppers and diced potato's. Added small amount of cooking oil initially. Heats very fast using 65,000 btu propane burner. Didn't need much time or gas to get the disk hot. The disk absorbs heat very quickly and was hot enough to cook on in about 3 minutes on low burn. Total time on the disk was less than 15 minutes start to finish. Have since cooked chicken & steak fajita's and sirloin steak with peppers. Beautiful steak sear! Cooks fast even with low heat. Selected the Pecos disk for large size and shallow depth. Massive surface area to cook with. Just enough bowl to collect & retain liquids and still be able to move food easily out of the hot center for lower/slower cooking nearer to edges. Shallow shape helps to keep food up near the rim. Easy to arrange food around the upper rim. Enough room in the disk to cook enough food to feed a large family easily and quickly. BBQ style handles are big enough to grasp easily with hot mitts. Can be easily moved to store or clean. Build quality is good, nice welding, clean edges. Clean up has been super easy using water, stiff bristle brush & a chain mail scrubber. Definitely getting easier to clean after each use and taking on a nice dark patina. Slight learning curve for heat distribution. Great addition to the patio grilling arsenal. Year around cooking tool. Looking forward to using it for morel and packing it up to travel.

I bought the 24" Pecos Disc... LOVE IT. I already had a cajun cadillac burner, so I only needed to purchase a disc to make my own camping "cowboy wok" setup. I used it twice within the first week of purchase and am 100% satisfied. It is heavy duty, and will last a lifetime.

Purchased the 24” Pecos Discada . I am very satisfied with how fast your product arrived . The quality of the disk is outstanding . Much thicker and heavy duty than any other ones I have seen . Love the springs handles . I highly recommend this product .
