Does the job!
Nice to adjust and it is pretty sturdy. Being brand new its a little snug sliding legs up and down but not big deal. Put some "CLP" on it! Lol! On serious note it is very convenient to have. Thank you! Semper Fi!

Very Portable
Breakdown is quick and easy... packed it in the mini van to use on vacation at the beach (1000 mile trip) my other disk burner was not an option(would have taken up to much space)...

Excellent quality
Used this burner for nearly every meal while camping. The height was perfect, a real back saver. The tripod design worked well on uneven ground. The burner heated the disk evenly which can be a problem if your trying to use a run of the mill turkey fryer burner. A turkey frier pot fits perfectly on it as well. Overall I am satisfied with the construction.

This burner is, without a doubt, the best I've ever owned... bar none. It produces a TON of heat, has plenty of height adjustability, and is stable enough to handle my loaded 24" Roswell Discada without any problems... That being said, while a great burner, it's not quite perfect. In my opinion, it needs two more things to make it become a true 5 star item. One, a higher adjustable wind screen is needed to protect the flame better in really windy conditions. Second, it needs an ignition system such as those found on many gas grills... a simple push-button type piezo igniter would be perfect. Anyone listening ?

Love my Santa Fe disk and adjutable burner.
The burner was easy to assemble; taking just a few minutes. The legs and body are heavier gauge metal and sturdier than you would guess from the web site photos. The burner is powerful and heats a wider area than my turkey fryer. It also adjusts very well for temp control. Frying a batch of chicken wings is a great way to season a new disk. I highly recommend a long stemmed deep fry thermometer if you are going to fry. If you have a turkey fryer set up, you may already have one. Mine is long enough to reach the center of the disk, and clips on to the edge. This is a good safety item; as it would be easy to over-heat your oil if you aren't monitoring it closely. Like I said, this burner is powerful. The Santa Fe disk is the Sherman Tank of woks, and no doubt will last for several generations. Very pleased with both the disk and the burner. That's about it, now just have to decide what to cook next!
