The Mighty Rio Grande - One of the longest rivers of North America.  The Rio Grande flows out of the snowcapped Rocky Mountains in Colorado and journeys 1,900 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. It passes through 800 foot chasms of the Rio Grande Gorge, a wild and remote area of northern New Mexico. The canyon provides a wide variety of recreational opportunities, luring fishermen, hikers, artists, and whitewater boating enthusiasts. Access in the upper canyon is restricted by the terrain, but several trails lead to the rivers edge. The two most popular whitewater segments are the Taos Box, 17 miles of Class IV whitewater, and the 5 mile Racecourse, a Class III segment. The lower canyon is paralleled by state roads, and receives the majority of the recreational use.
The Rio Grande and Red River designation was among the original eight rivers designated by Congress as Wild and Scenic in 1968. The designation was extended by legislation in 1994 to include an additional 12 miles of the Rio Grande. The designated area includes 60 miles of the Rio Grande from the Colorado/New Mexico state line to just beyond BLM's County Line Recreation Site, and the lower 4 miles of the Red River.

    LOVE THIS DISC

Posted by KARL CHU on 2nd Sep 2016

This is an amazing disc, a 24" disc with lots of room to partition your cooking ... this is the best cooking disc/wok I have used ... it's not simply size but the amount of space within which one can negotiate various parts of the ingredients such that you don't feel cluttered by the disc ... absolutely recommend this discada plow disc ...

We ordered the lid at the same time and we've used our discada almost every day since we've received it! Best purchase ever! Well made with good heavy metal and the BBQ handles are great!

Very pleased with the construction,size,shipping.... I also bought the collapsible burner (compact great for travel) and travel cover (recommend)... going to purchase the aluminum lid next will be much better then trying to cover cooked food with aluminum foil... you will not be disappointed.....

    Satisfied customer

Posted by Joe B on 7th Aug 2016

I special ordered mine with a rim and it was ready for pickup the next day. This 24" has a deeper dish than the standard 22". Although the 24" is only two inches bigger , it seems it will hold much more food.

    Quality product, great service

Posted by Michael A on 8th Jul 2016

Received an acknowledgment immediately, the disk shipped the next day. Adequately packed, two full beads of weldment were applied on both sides of the handles---unnecessary overkill, something that I also would do. The disk was preseasoned, I seasoned it again and did a paella with a pound each of shrimp, scallops, clams, chorizo and I look forward to using it again. Great product at a fair price.

Southwest Disk was great do deal with.

Posted by Richard Howell on 13th Jun 2016

Disk is great and meets all expectations. You can trust the other great reviews of the product. The big story is the support at Southwest Disk. My order was "lost in the mail". No fault of Southwest, but due to the call to Southwest from mail carrier, they then took the ball. They sent me a new disk and dealt with the carrier. Thanks Southwest Disk.

    Super heavy duty

Posted by QT on 2nd May 2016

You will never wear this out. I looked all over Internet for the best one and I surly found it. This thing big and heavy. Really worth the money. Look no further and place your order. The horseshoe handles are awesome. Looks really southwestern and custom made. Not some mass produced item.
