The Mighty Rio Grande - One of the longest rivers of North America. The Rio Grande flows out of the snowcapped Rocky Mountains in Colorado and journeys 1,900 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. It passes through 800 foot chasms of the Rio Grande Gorge, a wild and remote area of northern New Mexico. The canyon provides a wide variety of recreational opportunities, luring fishermen, hikers, artists, and whitewater boating enthusiasts. Access in the upper canyon is restricted by the terrain, but several trails lead to the rivers edge. The two most popular whitewater segments are the Taos Box, 17 miles of Class IV whitewater, and the 5 mile Racecourse, a Class III segment. The lower canyon is paralleled by state roads, and receives the majority of the recreational use.
The Rio Grande and Red River designation was among the original eight rivers designated by Congress as Wild and Scenic in 1968. The designation was extended by legislation in 1994 to include an additional 12 miles of the Rio Grande. The designated area includes 60 miles of the Rio Grande from the Colorado/New Mexico state line to just beyond BLM's County Line Recreation Site, and the lower 4 miles of the Red River.

Fantastic Cooker
I ordered the Rio Grande disc with a 1 1/2 inch lip added to it. You can find lids big enough to fit it on Amazon. With the lip the diameter was 25 inches. Took the whole cooker on a fishing trip to lake Powell as I was cooking for 6 hungry guys before and after a full day of fishing. The end result was having happy friends to fish with all day and 3 days of great fishing. We did fill the pan one night with 22 pork chops, 2 bags of fresh green beans, 1 pound of bacon and 6 potatoes sliced and I was able to cook all of it with just enough space to keep them separated. I can say that we never went hungry and had lunch the next day from dinner. I would highly recommend this disc to anyone.

Fine Outdoor Cooking
Ordered the Rio Grande after a short conversation over the phone which solidified my decision. Delivered in just a few days pre-seasoned and ready to use! I immediately pressed it into service for some shrimp fajitas and was not disappointed. I am looking forward to doing larger dishes for some friends and getting their reaction. Great customer service, quick response and a superior product all add up to a great experience. I also prefer to do business with a fellow vet, TYFYS!

my disk will last a life time top quality workmanship

Very durable - could easily be passed from one generation to another
We received it Friday at noon. We made fajitas for lunch that day and have made breakfast several times and steaks once. Nothing better than having sauteed onions and mushrooms to put on top of your steak. Glad I added the rim to my Rio Grande disk. The value/cost far exceeds any gas grill on the market today. Clean up is a snap. No grease splatters on the patio due to the size of the disk.

Excellent!
I just loved this disk. I´m from the north of Mexico (where the discada dish is from) and I´ve living in Canada for 8 years now. I wanted to find a disk similar to the ones we have back home and this is it! Great quality and it seems it will last for many and many years. If you live in Canada be prepared to pay some extra $ for VAT/duties (about $100 CAD for both disk and burner), but at the end it is totally worth it (at least for me).

I love my new cooking disc. It's going to be my new way to cook. The food comes out fantastic. Craftsmanship is excellent and I'm so glad I had you put the rim on my Rio Grande. Well worth the extra cost. Thanks so much for a quality product!
