The Mighty Rio Grande - One of the longest rivers of North America.  The Rio Grande flows out of the snowcapped Rocky Mountains in Colorado and journeys 1,900 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. It passes through 800 foot chasms of the Rio Grande Gorge, a wild and remote area of northern New Mexico. The canyon provides a wide variety of recreational opportunities, luring fishermen, hikers, artists, and whitewater boating enthusiasts. Access in the upper canyon is restricted by the terrain, but several trails lead to the rivers edge. The two most popular whitewater segments are the Taos Box, 17 miles of Class IV whitewater, and the 5 mile Racecourse, a Class III segment. The lower canyon is paralleled by state roads, and receives the majority of the recreational use.
The Rio Grande and Red River designation was among the original eight rivers designated by Congress as Wild and Scenic in 1968. The designation was extended by legislation in 1994 to include an additional 12 miles of the Rio Grande. The designated area includes 60 miles of the Rio Grande from the Colorado/New Mexico state line to just beyond BLM's County Line Recreation Site, and the lower 4 miles of the Red River.

This is a great family cooking experience. Everyone is involved with the cooking and it is just great to sit around the disk and cook the meal in one pot. Cooking breakfast is just so good on the disk. We have more to order!!

I ordered the 24" rio grande with 1 1/2" rim. I am very pleased with this product, it is very heavy duty and will last a lifetime! The owner was very helpful and the shipping was very fast. I ordered mine on a Monday afternoon and it arrived on Thursday, I highly recommend this product!

    Great Disco

Posted by Unknown on 22nd Apr 2014

Ordered disk to replace a smaller one that I have, I go camping a lot and you can cook anything on a disk, breakfast lunch and/or supper. Not disappointed at all, used it Easter weekend and it was awesome! Larger than I imagined it would be. Bought another one with my order and gave it to my brother and he was just as impressed as we're our friends, they all asked where I got them from,so you might be receiving more orders.

    Quality & Fast

Posted by Timm Martin on 11th Feb 2014

I have a 24" disk, I order it on a Monday and received on Thursday of the same week. The quality of this disk is out of the world. As for cooking on it I can't get over just how fast it cooks. Given that I did slow & low BBQ "smoked meat" to cook this fast is just mind blowing to me. I just love my new Southwest Disk

    Maybe Better Than My Own

Posted by Floyd on 10th Feb 2014

I have made about 30 disc myself from used plow disc that have been replaced with new. This one is considerably deeper and therefore more useful for my purposes. Usually cooking large Quantities for large crowds / groups of people. I LOVE Discada cooking. Cooked about 30 LBS of meat and veggies for super bowl party. What a Hit. Super Hero Status achieved.
